Description:

TechKote WB 2960 DL5, is one component, direct to metal (DTM), low gloss, and black waterborne coating, for spray application to sheet metal, hot/cold rolled steel, castings, forgings, and extruded metal. It is extremely durable coating designed to provide high corrosion and water resistance properties, even when applied at low film builds (~ 3 mils). The coating can be air-dried or force dried and does not need high temperature bake cycles.

TechKote WB 2960 DL5  does not contribute significantly to VOC emissions, nor does it contain any lead, chrome or any Hazardous Air Pollutants.

Health & Safety

TechKote WB 2960 DL5 is available at our Brighton, Michigan facility in 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes and 5 gallon pails.

Storage And Handling:  See Safety Data Sheet Before Use.

Do not freeze. Store at temperature between 45-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not pressurize container or reuse empty container.

Mix / application & Use

Drying Time @ 8.0 mils wet film thickness @ 26% RH and @ 70°F

Dry to touch: 45 min
Dry to handle: 1.5 hrs
Dry to recoat: 1.5 hrs
Dry time depends on temperature, humidity, and film thickness.

Use as received.
