TechLap Lapping Compound

TechLap

Description:

TechLap  is an abrasive silicon carbide compound formulated for the finishing and polishing of metal surfaces to ensure precision mating of metal parts. TechLap  produces highly polished surfaces in valve, valve guide operations and creates smooth surface finish in machined parts, such as ring and pinion gear teeth, to prevent chatter in mated surfaces and reduce NVH. TechLap  is easily removed with most conventional parts cleaning systems. TechLap may be provided in multiple abrasives and abrasive FEPA sizes ranging from F180 – F600. A Fortech Customer Service Representative will work with you to achieve the best size abrasive and viscosity to meet your specifications needs.
