TechKote AGD 2850 Plus: Low VOC, Water-Based, Corrosion-Resistant Coating



TechKote AGD 2850 Plus  is a high gloss,  low VOC, water-based, highly corrosion-resistant direct-to-metal coating, designed to be applied over ferrous or non-ferrous substrates. This coating provides an even layer of glossy black coating that may be air dried or baked at temperatures of less than 180 degrees Fahrenheit.  TechKote AGD 2850 Plus  is typically applied at a film build range of 0.07 – 1.5 mils.

Health & Safety

TechKote AGD 2850 Plus  is available at our Brighton, Michigan facility in 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes and 5 gallon pails.

Storage And Handling:  See Safety Data Sheet Before Use.

Do not freeze. Store at temperature between 45-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not pressurize container or reuse empty container.

Mix / application & Use

Prior to charging dip tank: Mix paint completely before use.

In dip tank: To prevent skinning, make sure the tank is constantly moving. When not in use, top off tank and cover. During extended shutdowns, pump out entire system. Upon startup, recharge with fresh paint.
